GENERAL INFORMATION :
- Every piece of Shannon Carney Jewelry is handmade; as such, minor differences in our website photos and your product may vary. These differences are normal and do not necessitate a refund.
- Shannon Carney Jewelry is made to order unless stock is already on hand.
- For items labeled "Ready to Ship", please allow up to 24 hours for your order to be processed.
- Orders placed over the weekend will not be processed until the following Monday. Orders placed on national holidays will not be processed until the following business day.
- Items that are not in stock may take up to 2 weeks to ship.
- All Domestic orders are shipped with FedEx and require a signature upon delivery
- All International orders are shipped using USPS Priority Mail International.
- We are unable to deliver to post office (PO) boxes, APO or FPO addresses
CANCELLING AN ORDER :
- If you need to cancel an order, you will need to email Shannon Carney Jewelry within 4 hours of when you place your order. Many pieces are made-to-order, and once production begins on them, they cannot be cancelled.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES, DOMESTIC ORDERS :
- We want our clients to be happy with the jewelry they have ordered!
- If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back to us for a refund, less a 10% restocking fee on the full retail price of the returned item, within 10 days of receipt. All returned items must be sent prepaid. Certain made to order items are excluded from this return policy, and it will be clearly indicated under that item's "product details".
- Do note, that all sale and discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned.
- All returned items must first be authorized by Shannon Carney Jewelry via email: info@shannoncarney.com Please indicate that it is a "RETURN REQUEST" in the subject line of your email, then follow these steps:
1. ) You will be emailed a return form. Fill it out and include it in your package along with the following items. All returned merchandise must be unworn and in its original condition, complete with care tag attached, original packaging, original receipt, and completed return authorization form.
We have the right to deny credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.
2. ) The customer is responsible for all shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or we made a mistake.
3. ) We recommend shipping all items through UPS or FedEx. We are not responsible for lost packages and we cannot issue a refund if your package is lost or damaged. We will not accept CODs. Please insure the package for the full amount of the merchandise you are sending back to us. We are not responsible for missing packages.
4. ) Please allow 4-7 days for us to process your return once your shipment has arrived. If you would like to exchange for another piece of jewelry, please place a new order on line and return your other items for a refund.
RETURNS, INTERNATIONAL ORDERS :
- All international orders are final sale.
WHY DO WE HAVE A RESTOCKING FEE? :
- We love making jewelry, and want to do so for many years to come! Because Shannon Carney Jewelry is a small business, we work hard to ensure we are operating in the healthiest way possible. With the high value and price of gold, holding onto returned inventory is expensive. While the 10% restocking fee does not cover the lost cost of labor, it does greatly help to cover the lost value of gold for pieces that must be refined instead of resold.
CARE :
- Shannon Carney Jewelry is meant to be worn every day. And while we hope the little scratches and dings, that occur over time, will happily remind you of the sweet history you are creating with each piece of jewelry, Shannon does have a few important suggestions for long term care:
- When traveling, or anytime jewelry is not being worn, do store it in the hard clear AMAC, or white paper, gift box your jewelry arrived in.
- Remove jewelry when sleeping, playing (some) sports / swimming, during strenuous activity, serious cleaning, or heavy lifting.
- Special care to avoid immersing opals in water.
FIRST-TIME ORDER POLICY :
- For security purposes, Shannon Carney Jewelry reserves the right to ship first-time orders to the cardholder’s verified billing address or work address. To avoid delays in receiving your order, please make sure to provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing an order. We recommend entering a shipping address where someone will be present to sign for and accept the order to ensure a smooth delivery.
TAXES AND DUTIES :
- All orders shipped within the state of Illinois are subject to applicable sales taxes.
- All taxes, duties, and custom fees associated with International shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
SHIPPING, CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES :
- FedEx Saver 3 Day Express, with and without Signed Delivery is offered at a reduced rate. FedEx Express Saver delivery by 4:30 p.m. on the 3rd business day and by 8 p.m. to residences. Some exceptions apply.
- FedEx 2 Day and Overnight Service, with Signed Delivery, are also offered. Additional fees apply.
SHIPPING, ALASKA AND HAWAII :
- All packages shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will be offered the following options: FedEx 2 Day Service, with Signed Delivery, or Overnight Service, with Signed Delivery.
SHIPPING, PUERTO RICO :
- All packages shipping to Puerto Rico will be offered the following options: FedEx 2 Day Service, with Signed Delivery, or Overnight Service, with Signed Delivery.
SHIPPING, INTERNATIONAL :
- UPS Worldwide Expedited with Signed Delivery will be used for all products shipping internationally, with the exception of Canada. Expected delivery time is 3 - 5 business days to many major markets.
- UPS Standard Delivery with Signed Delivery will be used for all products shipping to Canada, with an expected delivery time of 6 - 10 business day to many major markets.
- All taxes, duties, and custom fees associated with International shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
TRACKING INFORMATION :
- All orders are fully traceable with the the tracking information you will be send in the email confirming that your order has shipped. Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by Covid-19, payment authorization, and weather conditions that may affect transit.
INSURANCE :
- Shannon Carney Jewelry insures each purchase during time in transit until it is delivered to you.
- Shannon Carney Jewelry recommends that you purchase a shipping option that includes signed delivery. For all shipments that require signature upon delivery, responsibility for the shipment passes to you upon signature. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, you also accept that signature by the third party is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfillment by Shannon Carney Jewelry.
- If you choose to purchase a shipping option that does not include signed delivery, responsibility for the shipment passes to the recipient when the designated carrier (Fed Ex, or UPS) indicates that they have delivered the package, whether or not you are there to receive it.
- All shipped items being returned to Shannon Carney Jewelry for a refund, must be insured for the full amount of the merchandise you are sending back. Shannon Carney Jewelry is not responsible for missing packages.
